We pay our respects to Morgan Taylor, the multiple Grammy® nominated Children's music artist and illustrator. In 2005, Morgan created the cartoon character "Gustafer Yellowgold," who quickly became an international phenomenon, acclaimed by The New York Times as “A cross between ‘Yellow Submarine’ and Dr. Seuss.” Entertainment Weekly praised “…the most infectious original songs. It’s like tapping into some pleasure center in the brain - both adult and kid…absurdly appealing.”
Sadly, the world lost him in 2022 at far too young an age. He was incredibly creative, with a gentle and generous spirit. He is badly missed by his family, friends and countless fans around the world. Happily, the work he left behind remains and entertains children still.
