Yocontalie Jackson is an artist featured on a Grammy® nominated recording. She is a writer and producer who loves to collaborate with like minded people. Her vocal abilities have allowed her to sing Gospel and Jazz to sold out crowds throughout Europe and the U.S. She thanks God for her gift and her daughter Amanda who is her inspiration.
Yocontalie "Connie" Jackson began singing professionally at the age of 13 at the Metropolitan Opera House in Philadelphia. She has appeared with gospe legends like Shirley Caeser, Edwin Hawkins, The Mighty Clouds Of Joy, Hezekiah Walker, and others. Singing with the Dawkins New Sound Choir, she scored her first hit, "He's Everything To Me," which reached the top 10 on Billboard's gospel charts. After more than a decade with the Dawkins New Sound Choir she joined the Johnny Thompson Singers and toured Europe,
Connie produced the first successful Gospel festival in Camden, New Jersey. She also produced jazz and R&B concerts featuring major artists and played to more than 10,000 attendants at Wiggins Waterfront Park.
