WYLDER is a Jacksonville-based singer-songwriter and guitarist known for raw, cinematic vocals and emotionally charged performances. Blending indie, country, and alternative influences, she moves between haunting originals and reimagined covers. Her work explores grief, resilience, and longing, shaped by personal loss and transformation, creating a sound that feels both intimate and powerful on any stage. Victoria Wylder didn’t grow up chasing music. She wasn’t in choirs, she didn’t train in conservatories. Music found her later, almost by accident — and once it did, it took over everything. Late-night writing sessions and humming melodies to herself became a path she couldn’t turn away from. She writes songs inspired by the stories of others — an artist created by community. She may not know you, and you may not know her, but together, they share the fire, the frustrations, the love and heartache that shape us all. Her voice leans toward jazz and soul, but she doesn’t stay in a single box. She mixes influences, bends genres, and lets each song shape itself into what it needs to be. The goal isn’t perfection; it’s connection — making someone feel like the lyrics are reaching right through the noise and speaking to them. Wylder is on fire.
