Timmy May is a musician and songwriter based in Rhode Island, USA. His band, "Rhode to Dublin," performs Celtic and his original music. He is a host and founder of a regular Irish music session at the Fastnet Pub in Newport, Rhode Island, playing from 6 to 9 PM every Sunday year-round. On the second Wednesday of each month from 6-9 PM EST, he DJs "The Celtic Realm" on 90.3 FM WRIU.org, the University of Rhode Island's radio station.
Timmy was a public high school math teacher for more than 30 years, but now he focuses on music. He goes by "Timmy May" to avoid confusion with another artist with a large following named "Tim May."
