Tess Remy is currently the Professor of Cello and Director of the Brisch Center for Historical Performance at the University of Central Oklahoma. Dr. Remy has won first prizes at Germany's "Jugend musiziert" and the Carlo Zecchi Competition with pianist Michael Staudt. She has been a concert soloist for many years, performing in Europe, Asia, Australia and the US, including two Carnegie Recital Hall concerts.
Tess Remy studied with Jacqueline due Pre and William Pleeth, Boris Pergamenschikow, Maria Kliegel, and, as a Fulbright Scholar, at the University of Southern California. She received her Master of Music with Lynn Harrell, and her DMA with Eleonore Schoenfeld at USC.
