Showji

SHOWJI is a vocalist, actor, and model originally from Fukuoka, Japan, who now lives in New York city. He sings R&B,POP and Gospel. He was selected as one of only four solo finalists in the McDonalds Gospel festival, out of over 20,000 competitors, one of the biggest Gospel festivals in the USA. Showji was a cast member of the children’s education play "At The Wave." This play has been performed in public schools and theaters all across America. The play was recognized by the BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music), and performed on Off-Broadway. The play started the TV series “Meet Me At the Wave,” which appears every Monday at 5:30 am and Tuesday at 8:00 am EST, on Brooklyn cable TV Channel 34 for Time Warner, Channel 67 for CableVision, and Channel 42 for Verizon Fios customers. He models for fashion companies like J-crew and well-known Japanese wedding company La-vie Photography, and for a Japanese Traditional Kimono fashion show in Queens , New York.
