Rick Robles

Rick Robles is the founder of the Children's music group, the Shoe Biters. A seasoned Rock musician himself, Rick brings that energy and spirit to songs crafted for a shorter audience. The Shoe Biters live band brings the animated world of Harmony Town into the real world, featuring seasoned touring musicians with major pop and rock credits. Alongside the animation and original music, their performances extend the project beyond the screen, delivering high-energy rock shows designed for families to experience together.

The music of Shoe Biters is created and performed by world-class musicians led by songwriter and creator Rick Robles and acclaimed multi-instrumentalist and producer Jesse Siebenberg. Robles writes all Shoe Biters music and lyrics, bringing a foundation of authentic, guitar-driven rock and deeply personal storytelling to the project, with every songs inspired by his two young children. Beginning with song 15, The World Outside, the album pivots into a 19-minute piece with six movements that journeys from industrial to classical, country to heavy metal. The final five songs (Side D), which feel like letters and verses from a parent to a child, turning the album into something deeper and more meaningful and placing it alongside the very best of family music.

To bring the songs to life, he reunited with Siebenberg, a longtime friend and early musical collaborator whose extraordinary career includes recording and performing with artists such as Brian Wilson, Lady Gaga, Neil Young, Willie Nelson, Kenny Loggins, Miranda Lambert, Kesha, and Lukas Nelson. Together, they apply the same level of musicianship, production quality, and artistic integrity found in major rock records.
