Raised in the suburbs not far from Minneapolis, Raymnd's fondness for music at a young age drew the attention of those closest to him. Growing up, he was inspired by The Beatles, The Beach Boys, 1960s neo-psychedelic acts, the pop and funk roots of fellow Minneapolis native Prince, and more modern dream pop acts such as Beach House and Mazzy Star. As he came of age, he quickly discovered his sound with a blend of thrashing drums, lush synths, and hypnotic melodies that are sure to keep you wanting more.
