Prana Kishore Bommireddipalli/Prana Kishore is an Indie Collaborative and Grammy® Voting member. An Indian American, he is a singer, songwriter, composer, producer, and Vedic scholar with over 20 years of research on Sanskrit and Sounds. He created Prana music, a genre that blends Sanskrit with the sounds of nature, accompanied by a symphony of Indian and Western instruments, to alleviate stress and bring happiness to people. His genres are Prana music, New Age, World, Indian Classical, Folk, EDM/Dance, Pop, Hip Hop, and Fusion.
He made it easy to listen and learn Mantras and chants in Sanskrit. Prana Kishore’s journey started at the age of seven, learning Tabla from a blind teacher. His band, Prana Kishore Musiano, performed 600 shows with 60 musicians. He taught tabla and singing at the Madras School for the Blind in India as his way of giving back. He has released 90 albums in nine languages worldwide through Prana Kishore Records, including Sanskrit, Awadhi, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and English. He also won the Prestigious World Artist Award from Josie Music International in 2023 and the Guinness World Record for the longest officially released song, which lasted for five days.
He plays nine instruments, designs album covers, and handles marketing and PR. He holds a master’s degree in engineering and served as the General Manager of the TATA Group in India.
He lives in the USA, happily married to his college sweetheart, with two daughters and miniature poodles Bella and Axon. His fans love his music for its mood-changing upbeat music and melody, and are inspired by his voice and choice of instruments.
