Born and raised on the outskirts of New York City, Phil Kennelty has played coffee houses and bars throughout the metropolitan area as a solo act and as a member of numerous Rock, Country, and Americana bands. His songs and his interpretations of other artists' songs are constantly evolving. He incorporates rhythms and moods from various genres, including African, Caribbean, Reggae, Delta Blues, Piedmont Blues, Cajun, Zydeco, Native American, Immigrated American, World Music, and good old Rock’n’Roll, creating a unique style all his own.

The songs he writes and sings are well-crafted, emotional journeys. His performances draw the audience into his world of pain and joy, despair and hope, dreams, visions, and realities painted on canvasses of rhythm, harmony, and melody.

Released in 2009, his debut album, THIRTEEN SONGS, includes his twice-covered song, "Love Goes On." Another song of his, "(It’s Going To Be) A Merry XMAS," was sung by Pat Hunter. Phil has released four singles to date. Please visit his website and social media to find out more.
