Jazz vocalist Monika Ryan, started singing professionally at the age of 15. By 16 she had management and was working in and around New York City. After attending the world-renowned New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, she toured the world singing and performing. Ryan's voice is a force of nature - her style exists beyond clearly drawn lines or categorical definitions. Rooted in jazz, her inventive compositions are philosophical vignettes and her performances are alive and captivating.She is an immersive artist with a deep connection to both the music and lyrics, and she takes her listeners on a journey.
