Children's music artist Michelle Bloom's debut album "Big Backyard" is inspired by the music of the 1970's, classic children's books, distant horizons, wheeling stars, and warm campfires. Winner of a Parent's Choice Gold Award, Michelle believes in honoring the history and art of writing lyrics. Her album includes a 16-page insert that allows them to be read like a poem or sung out loud. Some words appear in capitol letters. Like bread crumbs on a forest trail, they lead the listener and the reader into the collective memories of historical songwriters and classic children’s books.
