Michael Mei, an original singer & rapper, is a Grammy U member. He held two solo concerts in New York in 2017 and 2024. He was featured twice on The Donna Drake Show on CBS. He is the MC of the Rap of China in New York for 2024 and 2025. In 2025, he performed in the Global Talent Show at Lincoln Center. In 2025, he was awarded by the United Nations Commutech Group and performed at the Consulate General of Nigeria in New York.
In 2024, he won the second prize in the vocal category of the third New York Global Music Competition and performed at Carnegie Hall. In 2024, he was invited by the biggest Chinese Television SinoVision to rap the theme song for the Chinese New Year in New York. In 2023, he was asked by the NYC Mayor's Office in the Lunar New Year Celebration to perform at the Gracie Mansion.
