Kathryn Shipley, aka KShip, has built her music career by inspiring and helping others through her faith. A rising Country, Contemporary Christian, and Singer/Songwriter, KShip earned herself a place in the First Class of Color Me Country in 2021. She is an award-winning artist with NINE Josie Music Awards, including Gospel Song of the Year at the 2024 Josie Awards for "We Are Called," A 2023 Hollywood Media Award Winner, Multiple ICMA Nominations (International Christian Music Association), a 2024 WEA (World Entertainment Awards) Winner and a Multiple Year Winner at the Global Music Awards among many others. Her award-winning collaboration with Indie artists from many parts of the USA and globally, “The Power of One Movement,” did a song called “Spread Hope Send Love, which was #1 on iTunes.
2023 proved to be a challenging year for KShip, as she was diagnosed with colon cancer. She is now an official cancer warrior being NED (no evidence of disease). With her typical finesse, cancer did not slow her down; she had one of the most award-winning years since she hit the music scene in 2017.
Having raised her children in her home state of Missouri and forged a professional career outside of the state in the music industry, she epitomizes bravery, crossing multiple genres with her vocal prowess, she has amassed a great fan following. Kathryn has been featured on Apple Music, CMT, ACM (Academy of Country Music), Women of Country and many more publications. She has been a keynote speaker at several engagements for many different world-based causes including colorectal cancer awareness, mental health, substance abuse and a proud supporter of her fellow United States Veterans.
