Katherine Jamieson is a graduate of the University of Iowa Nonfiction Writing Program where she was an Iowa Arts Fellow. These days she's both a freelance writer based in Western Massachusetts and a member with Ben Gundersheimer of the Latin Grammy® award-winning Children's music band, Mister G Songs. Katherine's writing work has also been anthologized in Lonely Planet’s Rite of Passage and Fearless Confessions: A Writer’s Guide to Memoir. She's won fellowships and awards from the Kunstlerhaus Schloss Wiepersdorf, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Lantern Books, and The Atlantic Monthly.
