Jay is the principal composer and lead guitarist for the band Ceremony of Darkness. Founded in 2010, their debut album, "13," won Best Metal/Hardcore Album of the 2010 Independent Music Awards. His compositions, "The Surgeon of New Orleans," and "Flesh of the Witch," were each nominated for Best Metal Song at the HMMAs after their respective 2010 and 2013 releases. "Flesh of the Witch" was also featured in the Nettflix movie "The Incredible Jessica James," the NBC TV Show "Blindspot", and the STARZ series "American Gods".
