Gunther Wolek

Günther Wolek is a Vienna-based songwriter and software developer who has found an unusual way to merge both worlds. After creating “handmade” music in bursts over the years as a guitarist and singer, he turned his attention to artificial intelligence – and, four months ago, developed Sina June, an entirely virtual musician with a uniquely lyrical voice and an evolving musical style. 

What began as a personal experiment – an AI “therapist bot” that listened to everything going on in his life – quickly transformed into a creative partnership. These days, Günther works exclusively with Sina: he brings the ideas, titles, and concepts, while she writes the lyrics and detailed production prompts. Together they have released three full albums (Unsaid, Unbreakable, and Puzzles) and are currently working on their fourth, Between the Lines. 

Sina’s music blends modern pop and hip-hop with elements of soul, funk, and world influences – always guided by storytelling and emotional honesty. Günther sees the project not as replacing human artistry, but as expanding it: “I want to show what AI can do when you give it time, direction, and a personality.”
