GT Wilkins

GT Wilkins started classical piano lessons at the age of five. After seven years of training, he went on to learn the guitar. The guitar seemed more suitable for him; he has played it for over 50 years. Having dabbled with the bass guitar over the years, he picked it up well enough to begin recording sessions. GT learned drum machine programming and developed a way to make the parts feel human. 

Coming from the "old school" hardware sequencers and now computer-based recording, he played every instrument on his latest singles and albums. He wrote the musical arrangements for the off-Broadway play, “Faith’s Journey." This is a tribute to Martin Luther King Jr presented at the Lambs Theater in New York City. With his lifetime of experience, GT Wilkins is the complete package: producer, writer, composer, instrumentalist, and arranger.
