Geoff Wilbourn

Geoff Wilbourn has produced Billboard #1 and UK #1 albums for award-winning artists like Bobby Messano, Dean James, Kofi Baker, and Trevor Sewell. He is the owner and producer at Autumn Records Studio and the owner of Autumn Records LLC. 

The Story .... After producing music in Milwaukee for five years, co-owner Geoff Wilbourn started commuting to The Sound Emporium in Nashville in 2013. He loves his Nashville Family, and even though he will still head south now and then, it was time for him to build a studio in Wisconsin. So he returned to his home state and built Autumn Records Studio at 41 Frederick Street in Belleville, in the greater Madison area. The main room is over 520 square feet, with 21-foot high ceilings. The walls are 5.5 inches thick and feature hemp wool sound insulation and fire-retardant cloth to absorb sound. 

The control room is 220 square feet with a new Trident 68 series 24-channel console, an Otari MT90 24-track 2" tape machine, a Studio Technologies Ecoplate III plate reverb, and two Empirical Labs EL8 Distressor compressor/limiters. Sound is routed to an Avid HDX I/O 16x16 Digital interface with the Avid HDX card, connecting to an Apple Mac Studio using Pro Tools Unlimited. Tracking is done on tape and then sent to Pro Tools for overdubs, mixing, and editing.
