Los Angeles-based Ching-Shan Chang is a composer of multimedia scores and concert music. She is the composer of numerous studio and short films, and has contributed additional music for composers such as Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL), Mychael Danna, Carter Burwell, Dino Meneghin, and more. She is currently working alongside Holkenborg as an additional composer. She is working on director Zack Snyder's upcoming Netflix feature film REBEL MOON. Her studio film credits include Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Paramount Pictures), My Father’s Dragon (Netflix), and Teen Wolf: The Movie (Paramount +). 


Her collaboration with director Guilherme Pedra, ELSEWHERE (A Flor Azul) marked a milestone with its successful performance across film festivals including the 71st International Cannes Film Festival, and her winning of several Best Music awards and film music competitions such as International Berlin Film Scoring Competition, and Krakow FMF Young Talent Awards has also opened a door for her in Hollywood. Moreover, she was the first Asian female composer to win the Golden Eye in the 8th International Zurich Film Music Competition for her score in Danny and the Wild Bunch.


Before she started her career as a film composer, she participated in several workshops such as NYU/ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop with Woman in Music Scholarship from Sorel Organization, The Mentor Program from The Society of Composers and Lyricists, the ASCAP/ Columbia Film Scoring Workshop, and a year-long internship with Junkie XL in Score Academy in 2019. Her journey as an artist has been celebrated for her involvement across multiple fields of music and can be found in numerous journalist publishers of different sizes across the world including Washington Square News, Shoutout LA, and major Taiwanese newspaper outlets such as Liberty Times Net, China Times, Central News Agency and more.
