Carl Brister

Carl Brister is an award-winning independent recording artist, singer-songwriter, educator, and arts advocate whose work blends soulful storytelling with a commitment to community impact. Known for his rich vocals and uplifting message, Carl has released four independent albums and multiple singles, building a career rooted in authenticity, creativity, and meaningful connection.

His latest release, Hello, is a cinematic reimagining of the classic song that showcases his signature fusion of timeless melodies and contemporary artistry. Carl is also the recipient of the Global Music Award for Best Duo for I See You, recorded alongside his son, pianist and vocalist Jordan “J-Maestro” Brister. His music and performances have been featured on Access Hollywood, BET, Aspire Network, Music Choice, and other national media outlets. 

Beyond his work as a performer, Carl is the Founder & CEO of Music Village, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting diversity, inclusion, and community engagement through the arts.
