A teenager from the ’90s at heart, but born in 2005, Brett Ryder has been captivating audiences for over a decade. Refusing to be confined by genre, he creates music that boldly blends alternative rock with pop punk and unforgettable hooks—raw, real, and unmistakably his own. Brett’s artistry, songwriting, and dynamic performances have earned him recognition from organizations and audiences around the world. 

In August 2026, he was named Entertainer of the Year by the International Singer Songwriters Association (ISSA), receiving the organization’s highest honor. The award adds to an impressive list of accolades, including 2025 ISSA Music Video of the Year for “Why Hold On” and Song of the Year at the Josie Music Awards for “Walk All Over Me.” He was also named Breakout Artist of the Year by the Elite Entertainment Awards and has received numerous honors from music and film festivals across the United States and internationally. The momentum has continued throughout 2026. Brett is a current finalist in the Hard Rock Rising Artist International Competition, has 3 Josie Music Awards nominations including Vocalist of the Year, and has also earned an ISSA Gold Record for Rock Artist of the Month. 

Additionally his song “Down Down” was also named a semifinalist in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC), further recognizing his strength as a songwriter and establishing him as an artist whose work continues to gain attention well beyond his hometown. With a lifelong commitment to songwriting, Brett has released more than a dozen original songs, including his latest single, “Safe Sex,” which is currently under consideration by the Recording Academy for the Grammy Awards. 

His catalog has generated hundreds of thousands of streams across digital platforms, and he currently connects with more than 15,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
