Adam Palma is a professor of musical arts, lecturer at the University of Salford in Manchester in the UK and at The Music Academy in GdaÅ„sk, Poland. Adam has enjoyed a spectacular career as a solo instrumentalist for many years. His status is recognized by world-famous musicians such as Al Di Meola, Tommy Emmanuel, and Biréli Lagrène, who have invited him to participate in joint concerts. He also performs with renowned Polish classical/jazz music artists: Ewa Bem, Janusz Olejniczak, Leszek Możdżer, and Krzesimir DÄ™bski.

In 2017, The Polish  National Radio released his album Palm-istry. The album received  overwhelmingly positive reviews internationally and its premiere was  held in the Witold LutosÅ‚awski Concert Studio, Warsaw.

His next  album, ‘Adam Palma Meets Chopin’ (2019), was the first album to present  Chopin’s pieces in arrangements for the acoustic guitar. When the album  was released, Adam became the first Polish guitarist to be  featured on the covers of renowned guitar magazines in Germany (Akustik  Gitarre), Italy (Chitarra Acustica). The Chicago Tribune recognised  Adam’s excellence and placed his album among the 10 most important jazz  albums of the first half of 2020.

In 2020 Adam  was awarded the Bronze ‘Gloria Artis’ for his contributions to Polish  culture and a professorship by Andrzej Duda, the president of Poland.

His new album‘Second Life’ is the first-ever  entire album feat. acoustic guitar & string. Adam is  accompanied by one of the greatest chamber orchestras of our  times, The Chamber Orchestra of Polish Radio AMADEUS, led by famous  conductor, Agnieszka Duczmal.

‘Chopin  in Palma’s vision on guitar is highly unusual in the best sense both  sonically and beautiful! Whoever said Chopin is limited to the piano?  Here Adam Palma takes a courageous leap forward to expand his  interpretation with an instrument never before associated with a  composer like Chopin! A dedicated work of passion! Bravo!’ â€“ Al Di Meola
