Aashish Rego

Aashish Rego is one of the most renowned background music composers on the television circuit in India, he holds the dual distinction of being the only composer to have composed for Over 135 TV shows, 30 web series and for over 23,000 episodes of music - perhaps the most by any composer in the world. 

Rego has won five Indian Telly Awards, and is currently a consultant on the jury and on the advisory board of the Clef Music Awards. He holds the distinction of composing music for one of the longest running soap operas on Indian Television, “Balika Vadhu.” His music video “Vande Mataram” has garnered more than 50 international awards, and his next music video “Jaago Zara,” received over 100 international accolades. 

His feature film, “Pak Pak Pakaak” swept most of the awards in the Marathi Film circuit. He also composed the super hit title song for the Red Chillies film, "Always Kabhi Kabhi," directed by Roshan Abbas, the background score for the same film, and for “ZID,” by Anubhav Sinha.
